A few years ago, I created my first dating profile. Shaky selfies, awkward poses, the whole disaster. I waited for matches and... nothing. I was confused as hell. I had my life together, decent job, hit the gym. Even had the height thing going for me. So why was I getting passed over by women I knew I could connect with in real life?

Turns out, my photos were broadcasting all the wrong signals. Low-effort bathroom lighting. Stiff, uncomfortable energy. The kind of photos that make you look like you're trying too hard while somehow also looking like you don't care at all.

That sent me down a rabbit hole studying what actually works on dating apps. And here's what I discovered: women aren't swiping on your face. They're swiping on your world. Your photos need to show a life she'd want to be part of.

I get it — most guys aren't natural models. You might feel awkward in front of a camera, or worry about looking like one of those LinkedIn headshot guys on Hinge. You've probably seen those stiff, posed dating photos that scream “I hired someone” and thought, “I'd rather stay single.”

That's exactly why I do what I do differently.

I don't make you pose. I don't put you in front of brick walls doing the “business casual lean.” Instead, I capture you in your element — grabbing coffee in Roosevelt Row, walking through Scottsdale at sunset, hitting a lift at Lifetime Fitness… being yourself in places that actually reflect who you are.

The result? Photos that look like a friend with great taste happened to catch you living your life. Natural. Confident. Not tryhard, posed, and cringe.
